slayer



slayer

for this project i had to use a program called slayer. slayer is more of the rock sound with the guitars. i used slayer in this project and i made it in music tech class. i used trial and error to succesfully create this beat and it took quite a wile. my inspiration tward this peice was that i just had a beat going in my head and when i created the beat it came out like this.

    It is an interesting sound you got from the slayer. It sounds like a bass (which is not a bad thing) than a guitar. Since you have it playing in the upper register, your loop lacks bottom. I like the chopped rhythm, and would like to hear it developed more. You were also supposed to transpose this chopped line, and I don't hear that in this example.
